Spammers. Bastards. They should all be hung up by their sphincters and forced
to slowly and painfully clench their way up out of a pool of bile and fecal
matter. Failing that maybe they should just stop being so damned annoying and
not keep sending us ways to build cable decoders, make money fast or find
people anywhere.
They may not know it, but We Know Where They Live, or at least post from. There
is always a chance that we'll find where they're getting our addresses, what
server they posted from, maybe even what dialup line they came in on and get
the account close down, the hole patched, or the server consigned to the RBL.
Some ISPs even listen when we say something.
Whatever. Tracing spammers is everyone's responsibility. You Too Can Fight The
Good Fight. Fuck 'em, they're not subverting email and news and the web. It's
ours.
